BELONGING: AN INDIAN TRANS IMMIGRANT STORY
Belonging had it’s World Premiere at Frameline on June 19, 2023 at the historic Castro Theater in San Francisco. The second screening took place in Palm Springs on Sept.28 at Cinema Diverse, where it won the Festival Favorite Award. The 3rd screening took place at the Roxie for the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival on Nov.09, 2023.

STRINGS ATTACHED - SEASON 2
Season 2 was released on July 07,2023 on Amazon U.S. and Vimeo-on-demand Worldwide. The first 2 episodes also screened at Cinema Diverse Film Festival in Palm Springs on Sept.24, 2023 and was part of @ReelKev’s WebOUT program. The last 3 episodes are expected to release in March 2024.
Sherill Quinn and Cabe Thompson return as Claire and Andy in Season 2 along with Paul Renolis (Adrian), Jonathan Corey Williams (Ethan), Caitlin Alana Burke (Kristin), Michael Conner (Tyler) and Georgie Craig (Mom). In Season 2 we are introduced to Andy’s new roommate, Amy, played by Jade Cenina and Andy’s new love interest, Sunny, played by Mickey Singh. Cynthia Lagodzinski reprises her role as Ms.Dietrich and appears in episodes 1 and 8.
Writer Fernando Pereira also makes a guest appearance along with Edward Nathan who plays Claire’s ex-husband.
NOT TONIGHT - FEATURE
SLATED FOR WINTER 2024 RELEASE
Amir recently directed a feature called Not Tonight. This was written by Puneet and co-produced by Prana Pictures. This was a return to feature films for Amir who focused mostly on series, short films and documentaries during the last 10 years.
Puneet and Allison Ewing play the unhappy couple Amar and Amy. They are joined by Tyler Mckenna and Vikki Beretta as Mike and Emily, respectively.
